The country i´d like to visit is England. I have always liked it for many things, to start the language, I love english but especially the British accent, I find it so nice and classic, like a Jane Austen storie. Then because all of Europe has a special essence full of culture, museums and amazing architecture. For example Francis Bacon is one of my favorite painters and he´s english, how fantastic it would be to see one of his paintings live?.
Other aspect is the music, there is so many music from there that I love so much, just beginning with The Beatles, thanks to them the whole history of music and rock change, or contemporary artists like Laura Marling. I would like it so much to see live some of those artists, who are less known and not come to Chile to play. I think that the music from there has a special atmosphere, I don´t know if it would be their culture, weather or whatever, but I think it has it.
Another reason is actualy the weather , even if you tell me that I have a penguin complex, is just I don´t know, is just something you feel, I imagine all the beautifuls scenery of the landspaces or streets, covered by rain and the grays from the sky with cold, and I totally Love it.
If some day I get the chance to travel there, I would concentrate in first place to go to London, there I would like to see live music, visit museums, famous places, streets and buildings. Then I think I would go to a more rural area, maybe near to some lighthouse in the beach or something like that to see all the landscapes. On the other hand if I could have the oportunity of be able to go study there for some time, I would really love to do that.
At the end I think a trip to that country, with no doubt would give you so much, there is no way to return without a possitive change, and having learned and enjoyed a lot from it.

blog 1
I would like to discuss the topic of music, because I think that all of us in the class have a favourite band or singer and feel very passionate about it, so its a subject that can be interesting and exicting fo everyone and that fact would made the writing more fun, we all for sure have a lot to say and discuss in that area. Maybe some of us even want to have, or already have a music group or whatever... I personaly love music so much, I cant live without it, when I am working, studing or anything, I am listening to it, its a very important part of my life, it has mark a lot of special moments in it.

Future
What would you like to be doing 5 years from now? Professionally? Personally?
Where will you be living? What will you be doing?
Mmm thats hard to say, i dont like that question a lot... I really like actually don´t know where I might be in 5 years.
But of course there are some options that it wouldn´t be bad.. in fisrt place, in 5 years from now I should have finished the career, if I´m not dead yet or something...so What I'd like to do from there is to continue studing, get a postgrade.... One thing that I really want is to go to study abroad, and if that could be possible, i would love go to England or Italy.
I would love something like that because in Chile, Art is almost totally insignificant and unimportant in comparison to other countries, I mean ..culture in Chile sucks, the chance to live of it is even harder... Anyway I Know that go study in other country is difficult too, I guess I would need a scholarship or something like that.. mm so thats one option..
but If I wonder what I would like to do with my life, and I could choose whatever I wanted without any but , for example I would like to dedicate to music, like be a musician... even if i suck at it, the truth I would not mind because I love it .. but again I would have to say that I would prefer to do that in another place, and it's not that I hate my country or something like that, is just that almost everything that interests me is almost impossible to do in here.. so whatever ..
ok ..but returning to the option of keep studing art, here or elsewhere, the basic thing I suppose is that I would be able to live of that ..or work in something that makes possible to keep doing it, because i dont imagine live without be able to do what i really like.
... mm anyway, after all this.. I really dont know.. thats my honest anwser to the question, there is ofcourse a million things i would like to do.. but know or be "sure" about what would be, I really dont care, surprises are better .... while it is something that makes me happy , i guess its fine .. so for the moment I am dedicated to worry about the inside world of every day.

Favorite Piece of Technology

My favorite piece of technology, I think it would be the computer.
It is a electronic machine that processes information and has a storage capacity for this information. The information can be used, transferred, or copied to another computer .
I got it for Christmas, about 4 years ago. I use it for pretty much everything, like homework, to communicate through some program like msn with friends , to download things, for listening music with a program, to looking for information, etc. I use the pc, more specifically internet, every day.
I like it so much, because is very useful, saves you time, I love for example that through internet you have access to so much information and you can download things like music or videos, also it lets you know about new bands and things like that, besides it saves space, because contains a lot of things like music players, DVD player, virtual libraries, photos etc.
And if i did´t have one, I think that I could survive without a doubt, but it would be horrible to get used to, but maybe if you never had one it wouldn´t be so tragic .. you would finds another ways to do what you can do with the pc, I think it would be a life less comfortable and less fast
in regard to get things, but maybe that wouldn´t be so bad.

ASSIGNMENT 1
ASSIGNMENT 1 : Favourite subject
I think that the drawing is the base for all of the others subjects as painting or sculpture , and specifically, this drawing class has a very strict discipline and a very strong working methodology and I think that this is the the most important thing for be able to develop a good technique . The class is about really learn how to "draw", not just to illustrate or copy something, but to learn how to look properly at things, be able to understand the objects, understand its structure , also we work in parallel processes, one at home and another in the classroom. Drawing is thinking, the most basic and wonderful thing that we all do as humans.
Another thing that I like is that the professor is a person who really loves drawing, I mean like very deeply, and it is so good and encouraging to have a professor like that, who is not there for obligation, but for true vocation. And what I have learnt this semeste... I think that so many things, like learning to stop looking at things as if they were in only two dimensions, learn to look at the volume of the objects, learn to look in perspective and be able to transfer that into the paper, etc.... oh and also gave me a very good work method.
